How do I send my machine in for repair, and what happens after we receive it?
When sending your machine to ELM USA for repair, please follow the instructions below:
For All Machines:
- It is important to ship your machine in an OEM ELM Box with its protective insert.* (To order a box, click here.)
- Machines (excluding Masters) not received in an OEM ELM Box will be charged for an OEM box for return shipping
- Include your contact and shipping information along with a brief description of the issue you are experiencing.
- Machines should be sent without sanding or buffing pads, unless specifically requested.
Sending in an ECO-Pro 2?
- Please send only your machine with the tubing attached and the key card inserted.
- Keep the bottles, bottle caps, aluminum bottle holder, power cord, and power supply, unless requested for testing.
Sending in an ECO-Auto Smart, Senior, or Smart?
- Retain your power cord and drain hose.
- For Auto Smarts and Seniors, leave the pad holders on the turret and close the front door.
- For Smarts, include the pad holders inside the box.
- Leave all tubing attached to the pumps on the back, including the compound bottle for Auto Smarts and Seniors.
Sending in an ECO-Master?
- Masters must be securely banded to a pallet and properly protected.
- Masters need to be transported via freight for service.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SENDING MY MACHINE IN FOR REPAIR?
After sending your machine for service, you will receive a repair quotation via email or phone. Upon accepting the quote, repairs will be made, and you will get an invoice to pay before shipping. Warranty-covered machines will be fixed and returned. You will also receive tracking information once it is shipped. Our servicing of your machine includes checking the entire machine, replacing necessary parts, making adjustments, and cleaning, ensuring it runs properly upon return. All parts and labor are covered by a 90-day warranty.
*Please note that ELM USA is not responsible for shipping damage to incoming service machines. All machines (except Masters) not received in an OEM box will incur a charge for an OEM box for return shipping.
